Today on Life in 22 Minutes, Scott and Becky Mackintosh welcome Jason Coombs. Jason is the CEO and founder of Brick House Recovery and the author of soon-to-be-released book UNHOOKED; How to Help an Addicted Loved One Recover! Jason shares his journey from horrendous addiction that left him homeless, penniless, incarcerated and near death.

More about Jason:

Jason earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Utah and went on to achieve his Master’s in Professional Communications. He has operational experience in business ownership, strategic planning, management, sales, finance, advertising, marketing, human resources, and personal development. Jason has a natural ability to grow businesses in remarkable ways.

Jason continues to expand his reach as the addiction epidemic is taking over the nation. This rise in addiction costs our country $700B annually in health care, crime, and loss of productivity, and Jason found a niche to serve where there is a desperate need: He consults various organizations and corporations, with a passion to help corporate Human Resource teams about how to safeguard the successful recovery of addicted employees. This fresh approach saves corporations thousands of dollars in loss of productivity, treatment costs, and termination/hiring costs.

Jason enjoys playing the guitar, running, hiking, snow skiing, fly-fishing, and meditation in the great outdoors. He has a deep passion for traveling and adventure.
